Paw Paw, he has plenty of old revolvers. He just brought over another bagfull that I haven't had a chance to photograph yet. It is almost all revolvers. Aside the Webleys and Nagants I know there is at least one Colt Police Positive, Another Colt DA, and a S&W Lemon Squeezer. Right now, I'm waiting on the Fedex truck to send out a pistol. As soon as that is gone, I'll get busy on classifying and photographing the new batch.

Totally missed that these were being auctioned. Bad habit of not reading all the way down.

I totally should not subscribe to this thread.... but I'm going to.

ETA: The HK4 is kind of neat, but I don't know what I'd do with it.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

LOL

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to make any brownie points with spousal units this year.

The really fun part of this project is learning about the various guns. The HK4 is a good example. I found out that the "4" in the model name stands for the 4 different calibers you can switch the gun to. It has interchangeable barrels for .22, .25, .32 ACP, and .380. The firing pin can be moved up or down depending on whether you need centerfire or rimfire. I had never heard of this model before. But HK stopped making these in the mid 80's and they no longer have any spare parts. You can find the barrel kits for sale on the auction sites though.

And I'm already buying at least one gun next week....oh, well, that's one advantage of being single. :D

A Webley or Lebel revolver might be in my future...

If he has any rougher S&Ws - or really nice ones I'm interested

Same w a 1903/1908 Colt Pocket Auto

Could use a carbon steel donor grade Colt 1911 in 38 Super or 9MM.

Merwin-Hulberts, if I can afford them

Anything in 327 Federal

38 Super revolver or a 9MM one

Donor grade magnum length 700

Oh and a Beretta or Taurus 92 with a thumb safety

OK. I snapped some quick pics of the next batch of pistols. Just to make you guys salivate more. One thing I have quickly realized. I need a cheap DSLR with a manual focus lens. My current point and shoot, nice as it is, is only autofocus. It has a really difficult time trying to focus on the highly reflective surface of the pistols. Anyway, here's the pics.

Colt Police Positive 4" .38

Colt Police Positive 6" .38. Missing hammer and other parts, but repairable.

French 1892 Revolver marked Manufacture d'armes de Saint-Étienne 8mm

Nagant revolver in almost mint condition. 98% original bluing, original holster, and cleaning rod.

Remington Double Derringer. Mfg between 1911 and 1920.

There is also a Belgian Bayard semi-auto pocket pistol, but I didn't get a snapshot of that. Next time. I haven't had time to research this batch yet, so I haven't set any prices. I'll know more in the next couple of days.

Looked at some of them on Gunbroker.

I'd be interested in the HK4 as a gift for a friend, but $300+ seems a little pricy for the shape it's in.....and no extra magazine.
