If this is our BAG day thread, I wound up buying a LaRue PredatOBR 14.5" upper in 5.56 with flip up sights and a TangoDown vertical grip for $1,000. I didn't have the money to spend, but when a deal's that good, I can't pass it up. I figured I could always flip it for $1,500.

That's a great thing. Nothing better than being a home owner. Guns can wait.
Because as we all know, you'll NEVER have enough guns!!!  ;) ;) ;) ;) YES, the guns CAN wait!!!! :P :P :P
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

BAG Day mission complete: It's a Czech Mauser 1898 that I found at the local Pawn&Gun.

The stock is well-oiled, the handguard is a fresh replacement, the bolt is unnumbered, all the other metal is reblued, but the bore is shiny; a shooter! Under $200!
