Washington DC Gun Ownership to Go Through One Man
Re: Washington DC Gun Ownership to Go Through One Man
Personally, I see NO REASON why a resident of DC, who has a legitiamte right to buy a gun, can't go to Virginia, buy one, and carry it into the District.

Logical, reasonable, Constitutional, however, that's not the law.Battleriflefan wrote:Personally, I see NO REASON why a resident of DC, who has a legitiamte right to buy a gun, can't go to Virginia, buy one, and carry it into the District.

The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

It was Josh Sugarman that I was thinking of. Sorry, Mr. Sykes.

That bit about the VPC always makes me chuckle.
