Are Mec-Gar mags still the way to go or are other options reliable?
What about 15 rounds vs 13? I really don't want to worry about failures due to magazines.
Had some problems with cheap 17 round KRDs I got quite a few years ago.

Re: Hi-power Magazines
Mec-Gar have been the go to (and were an OEM for FN/Browning) for decades. have not heard of any issues but have not been digging that deeply into it recently.
I have some old RamLine 15 Round magazines (they dropped them when the 94 Ugly Gun Bill kicked in and never brought them back) that just keep on ticking. Never any problems.
With Mec-Gar I think the 15 rounders would be OK. Never saw any 17 RD mags from Browning or Mec-Gar.
My 13 rounders are all either Browning or UK/CA surplus and all work well. and all are over 40 years old.

...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Mec-Gar are probably good to go.
IIRC, I've got some 92 mags of theirs.

The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

Thanks
I knew they were kind of the go to mag years ago but haven't been paying attention lately.

I have some of the Mec-Gar 15 rounders and have never had an issue with them.

They make Walther factory Mags, all the ones I have are good, about 8 or so.
