My youngest daughter has signed up with the Army Reserve as a Practical Nursing Specialist (68C) their equivalent of an LPN. I can't help her with that, but I thought I could do some good with marksmanship before basic. I've looked into some of their training, and it looks pretty similar to what I got at Appleseed.
I plan to start with 22's set up as Liberty Training Rifles. Looks like the Army doesn't make much use of slings, though, so I may do with a sling and without.
Also, it looks like their rifles have an A2 buttstock, so I thought I'd put one of those on a rifle with a carry handle with aperture sights. After we work with 22's, we'll move to that, so it feels familiar.
So, the only thing I need is the A2 stock. Does anyone have recommendations for brand or source?
Fire away!

Re: Recommendations for A2 buttstock?
I found this one with no reviews: http://www.stdgun.com/a2-m16-ar15-stock-kit/
and this one with mixed reviews: http://www.primaryarms.com/anderson-man ... 24-a2-assy
PSA has one with good reviews but out of stock. When I tried to sign up for the Notify Me, the page locked twice, so I don't know if I'll hear from them or not.

Shipping was quick. But I received gray instead of the black I ordered. Now, to test their customer service.
