My son made it home today and we put the rifle together.
All we have left to get is a scope and some rail covers.

Sorry - the CameralandNY link isn't parsing correctly. Just copy-paste the whole thing into your browser. Look at the whole Vortex Diamondback line there - lots of scope for not much money... particularly the Demo units. If you call and ask Neil or Doug for a deal, they'll usually give you a new unit for the price of an open-box one.
