I am interested in both, I just need to see if I can spend the money right now. Don't wait on me, but don't forget about me.

I am 90% sure. It's in a sealed tin and the writings worn away. But I bought it as 8mm Yugo. I should probably open it up and see. I also have a bunch of commercial hunting 8mm as well as opened Fiocci JSP and Prvi steel core all on strippers. probably 1500 rounds all told. I will count and catalog them and send you right of first refusal before I post it. I don't want another embarrassing thread where I missed someone.

Alex over at TFB did a run and gun with an FN49, in 7mm IIRC. It had a few teething problems--if I heard him correctly, he said it had never been shot. Dang, that is one handsome rifle:

I was tempted by this rifle, but my gun budget is currently going to NFA related stuff, so I have to pass. I'm not sure that I would really shoot it much, but I like the history of the FN-49 a lot.

I don't blame ya. I am working on letting the idle stuff go. Largely it's going to go to NFA stuff.Netpackrat wrote:I was tempted by this rifle, but my gun budget is currently going to NFA related stuff, so I have to pass.
