Since these are AR-15 sized lowers, what caliber for werewolf? .458 SOCOM with a wide-meplat bullet as a close-quarters defensive gun or 6.5 Grendel for longer-range offensive engagements?

For werewolf, I don't think caliber is as important as bullet composition.
