Mauser Hsc .380.
Finicky about brand and type of ammo. Factory replacement magazines scarce as chicken's teeth, the Triple K mags are garbage.

An early model Kel-Tec SUB 2000. Sights were hard for me to adjust and the trigger pull was incredibly crappy. I liked the idea of having a .40 S&W folding stock weapon that I could store in a back pack or a pannier for motorcycle carry. It didn't have a Piccatiny rail but some proprietary mount. I just didn't feel like putting the money into it to make me happy.

Sig 220 I bought from Chris.
First impression was "/meh/ hate the stock grips and generally unimpressed with the operation and balance of the piece and it's a bit finicky about how stiff a wrist you keep."
2 sets of aftermarket grips later my impression was "/meh/ hate the stock grips and generally unimpressed with the operation and balance of the piece and it's a bit finicky about how stiff a wrist you keep."

Sold it to a Sig [strike]fanboy[/strike] coworker who loves Sigs and wants 1 of ea.

Rock Island 1911 in .38 Super. Kept mashing the bullets back into the case as it fed them in. Never could get it to feed right. Sold it to a pawnshop after I got tired of [strike]voiding the warranty[/strike] trying to get it to work.

An M48 yugo mauser. My first rifle and I didn't really know what to look for when buying a gun. It fit me like a glove and I liked the balance but it would pattern at 50 yards. Eventually I checked and realized the crown was worn and barrel was shot. It wasn't worth fixing, I just sold it for a K98 that was solid.

Quite a few. Recently been unhappy with my XDS in 45. I have had many light strikes, been back twice and still seeing them occasionally. Too risky to carry. My buddy had the same issue but sent his back a third time and says they replaced the barrel and relieved the ejection port?!!? WTF? But it's running now, I am taking a wait and see but might as well send it off to Springfield anyway. Must say, zero problems with anything else of theirs especially the XD line. I have owned at least 10 and still have three or four...
