Rod, I don't know what the problem is. The only other suggestion I have is to hang on for a day or so and I'll have the latest auctions up and you can view the pictures there. Maybe try a different browser.

Using Firefox 40.0.3 and they are showing up fine for me

Rod, are you running any ad block software that might stop the pictures from loading?

I'm running the same version of Firefox that Randy's running, and I keep getting the same screen as Rod.
Apparently, my O/S is running in FM mode. (F**kin' Magic).

Whew, I'm back. I got knocked off my feet for a couple of weeks with the flu. Boy was that fun. Anyway, got some new pictures for you to drool over and a request for help.
So, let's get started.

3rd model S&W Safety Hammerless in .38, cased, with extra 5 inch barrel. I need help with this. I can't find anything referencing cased sets. There is nothing in the Blue Book of Guns other than the individual values. If anyone has a copy of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson guns handy, could you look up any info that might be available. This pistol serial number is 76xxx, produced between 1890 and 1898. No marks on the case, not even the S&W logo.
Next!

S&W New Frontier Double Action First Model in .44-40
Or at least that's what's written on the tag on the gun bag. But the serial number is wrong for that series. 17xxx. It may be a .44 Double Action First Model which would make the caliber .44 Russian. Still researching this one.

Italian Bodeo 1889 Service Revolver. This pistol comes in two flavors. With a folding trigger for enlisted troops, and with a full trigger guard and fixed trigger for the officers. Apparently, they wanted a more compact sidearm for the troops cuz they had all that extra gear to carry, don'tcha know.

Another Enfield No.2 Mk1 made by Albion.

Astra 400.

Steyr 1910.

Steyr 1914

FN 1922, German Marked, but also has the lower case "a" after the serial number that indicates post liberation production.
WW2 German Veer flare pistol.

Colt Lightning Double Action in .38. These pistols were notorious for breaking. The inner workings were too fragile and complicated. This pistol is a good example as it doesn't function properly. But it's still a nice collector's piece.

HK VP-70 in the original box with factory test target. Dated 1984

HK P9S in the original box with manual. Late 60's or early 70's
Both the VP-70 and P9 look unfired. My buddy keeps surprising me with what he has. And he keeps telling me that this isn't the good stuff. This is turning into a full time job.

Not seeing the new images, tfbncc... the links seem to be correctly formed, however. I suspect the work server is blocking access to the hosting site. Will try from home and compare.tfbncc wrote:Whew, I'm back. I got knocked off my feet for a couple of weeks with the flu. Boy was that fun.
