Only one hour because there are many was a line so they were limiting everyone.
Sighting in my AR and G3. I like to start at 25 and walk it out to 100. this is a quick process, but goes much slower at ranges where you have to wait for the cease fire and wait for everyone else.
I've never really properly sighted in my AR and I also loaded up some ammo for it and I wanted to try that. I needed to adjust the front sight because even cranked all the way down it was still well high at 100 yards. That slowed the whole procedure and then I ran out of time. But I am at least within a few inches of zero at 100 yards so it should be a quick fix next time out.
Also I finally traded out the fake flash hider on the G3 for a real one awhile ago and I shot it a few times to know that the point of impact shifted a bit. It was high and left (normally keeps zero extremely well). I spent most of the time fiddling with the AR, so it isn't quite where I wanted it, but it is set up for the fine adjustments later.
I need maybe two more strings to get them dialed in.

What was your rear sight setting on your AR? I'm assuming that it's an A2 aperture.

It looks like this one although I don't remember where I bought it.
It is not a big deal as I just consider it a plinker. I built it up after I got back from A'stan mostly just to use the magazines, sling and whatnot, I bought for my M4. I don't consider it my SHTF rifle or anything.

Is the drum set at 8/3 (or 6/3) minus 3 for your own 100yd BZO?
That's three clicks down, or just about bottomed out. You may have to adjust the drum with a tiny Allen wrench through the top hole, then turn the two halves of the drum separately.
