Geissele G2S vs. SSA
I'm building an AR-15 that I want to use for some kinda sorta precision work, and am down to purchasing the trigger. I've seen the Geissele G2S, and of course their SSA. Both look like they do the same things, two stage and what not, but I'm confused as to whether or not the extra money is worth it for something like the SSA. What say you, the members of this sterling and august forum?

Re: Geissele G2S vs. SSA
I have a G2S and two SSA-Es. The G2S is their "budget" version of their SSA, they cut a few corners in the manufacturing process to make it a little cheaper. I don't recall them off the top of my head and don't want to spread misinformation. The G2S is a little different to install, as the hammer pin is retained differently, so it may throw you for a loop when you're putting it together.
I love the SSA-E and highly recommend it for a rifle with magnified glass, and while the G2S is very nice, if I did it again, I would probably spend the extra few bucks for their SSA because the price is fairly close. $165 v $220 right now, though often times you can find the SSAs for sale at just under $200. I got my first SSA-E for $185 if I'm remembering correctly. If you're on a tight budget, the ALG battle trigger is supposed to be very nice for the money, though I have no personal experience.
