Re: Rifle Project
It's one of two things - either they sent you the wrong stock(Savage has two different action screw lengths - pre and post accitrigger) or you ordered the wrong one.

Re: Rifle Project
I ordered a Model 11 stock, top bolt release, left hand, short action, center feed, blind magazine, and factory barrel channel. That was all you could specify on the order form.
So either they screwed up and sent the wrong one, or they screwed it up and sent it anyway. No biggie, got it fixed, it was just a minor irritation, especially since their stocks are usually perfect drop-ins.
I was actually more upset about the mag well inlet being too small; now that was a right pain!

I'm giving my nieces T shirts that say this a bit more personalized.Captain Wheelgun wrote:Obviously, you have minions to sit there being adorable while helping you spend your money.

The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.

"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

Can we get pictures? Or at least a redacted text?
My Senior Minions have matching t-shirts that show a bullseye with three clustered holes, and the caption "Shoot like a girl... if you can!"

Re: Rifle Project
First shots out of my Scout rifle this morning. Very pleased. The rifle seems to shoot very well. It's not benchrest accuracy, but it's damn fine practical accuracy.

I really like mine, it's quickly becoming my go-to rifle. Doesn't do anything extremely well, but does everything pretty well. And that suits me just fine.
