Update!

After almost 4 months of waiting, I have FINALLY received my Illinois Mother-May-I-Yes-You-May Concealed Carry License. Naturally, this being Illinois, it went into effect June 2. I didn't receive it until the 11th, because an armed peasantry is scary.

If I didn't have a good job and a house here, I'd move.

Utah has hockey, and cheap, fast permits.
