I ask out of Idle curiosity in comparison to what I carry as well as wanting to know if you would be willing to add a few ounces to your carry weapon if it reduced muzzle rise by 35-50%.

I have an idea and want to see if people who carry all the time are super weight sensitive or might entertain my idea.

No my hand guns just right as is , a reduction is mv would not be acceptable.

my idea would add weight to the gun, not lower muzzle velocity. Or in theory, you could raise mv with no increase in muzzle rise.

With the right belt and holster, I don't think you'd notice a few ounces. Just make sure that whatever you do doesn't affect how well you can draw.
