As mentioned above, they needed to shoot the front of the mullet. Don't direct head shots stop the attack 100% of the time whether they kill or not?
only if they penetrate... pelvis work really well too

If he had a mullet, he surely has no soul. Not certain if that disqualifies him from having a heart...

Plus, headshots on guys with mullets won't work. The brain's too small to hit.

You don't want that thing going off in your pants. It'll make the guy with the Makarov ND to the bits look like a pleasant afternoon of shooting.

specially if he is one of those guys that coats the mullet with an entire can of hair spray... that shit is almost bulletproof

That's why you get close and use a use a handload propelled by 2400, like say a .357 out of a 2" barrel. If the bullet doesn't stop him, you might still set his mullet on fire. This will burn his hair off and weaken him, allowing a follow-up shot that stops the formerly-mulletted miscreant in his tracks.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

I'm pretty sure I read that a head shot stops them even without penetration. I think it rings their bell hard enough that they become ineffective. Like a KO punch. It was some report that my CCW instructor had.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D
