Mekender,
How wrong can a pump gun go? Assuming the CD is a Turkish gun, I admit to prejudice against Turkish made doubles (especially single trigger models) and autos, but a 20 pump can't be a bad thing.

Having taught a couple of youngsters, I like the low velocity/low recoil shells such as WinLite (or low velocity reloads - at 1/3 the cost of WinLites). They break clays and keep youngsters in the game. You prolly know this, but I'll spout anyway; with shotguns the payload is very heavy, but it's speed that kills (Mass x Velocity^2 = Energy), so these 1000 fps shells have considerably less kick than the 1200-1400 fps target shells.

Good luck!

I've always been leery of Charles Daly. To me, it always had the smell of an import company using an old manufacturer's name to sell guns built by slave labor in some godforsaken communist hellhole. But with a little looking, I found this on their website:
Shotguns
Our current line of shotguns are all manufactured in Turkey.

Pistols
Steel frame 1911-A1 pistols are manufactured in the Philippines.
Polymer frame 1911 pistols are manufactured Israel.

Rifles
Our Cowboy Long Guns are manufactured in Italy.
If you don't mind a budget priced gun and all that that entails, it seems okay.
