I would think the major ammo manufacturers would have the process down such that the powder used would fill the case or close with a single charge. Don't some reloaders do that, use a powder bulky enough to prevent double charges?

Big difference when you're loading 100 rounds a month versus loading 100,000 a day. Halve the volume of powder, and you're probably halving your powder costs. A couple of cents per round adds up to some real money when you're loading that many rounds a day.

I'm guessing the word hasn't been getting out too well 'cause they have a 1/2 page ad in the latest American Rifleman magazine (May 2014, on page 46). They WANT those lots back (and I can't blame them)!

I'm gonna guess that like every other ammo recall, that's not applicable in Alaska.
