I have never had any problems with plated. The ocassional one breaks through (tears really) when being inserted or crimped, but they go bang still and don't lead up the barrel. I would guess it is between 1:100 or maybe even 1:250

Ah, 40 SW - plain enough. I guess I was reading too much into the question.

Ordered in the coated bullets in January, finally showed up yesterday. I did a batch of 15 to start just for a try out.
