Another not easy option is building a 300blk AK... Which has been done, but the only barrel I have seen offered for home builders had a 1 in 10" twist, which is just stupid. But .308" blanks in fast twist rates are readily available if you were willing to go the custom route and had a 5.56 AK or kit to use as a base.
