Just re-supplied my bag last weekend. In fact, I found things in it I did not remember packing. I live in earhtquake country and this is just part of the overall bag-out bags, we also have one in each 4x4

That's a bug out bag?
(a) No waist belt, so *not* very comfortable.
(b) 1st aid kit?
(c) tent?
(d) sleeping bag?
(e) rain gear?
(f) firearms/ammo?
Good grief. I have more in my car.

Its a basic kit, designed to get people interested in the idea. Most ZSers take the idea a bit...further.

One of my favorite lines overheard at a "outdoor/camping/survival" expo.....
"Dude, you're scaring the straights!"
For a beginner I can see it.
As a reminder, it's pretty good.
For those into it....
Well, You know the rest.

Saying they take it a bit further, is like saying the Sun's a bit warm..Kommander wrote:Its a basic kit, designed to get people interested in the idea. Most ZSers take the idea a bit...further.

At Campmors retail store, which is overrun with patchouli stink(both customers and sales clerks), freaking out the granola grazers has become a bit of a sport, whenever I and my friends stop in(usually on our way back from Ramsey Outdoors).Whirlibird wrote:"Dude, you're scaring the straights!"
The phrase "You're scaring the norms"/"You're freaking out the hippies" has been used..

I think I posted my usual car and briefcase gear, but have I ever done my actual BOB and attendant Tupperware containers?
