9Mak...FMJ or JHP?

I do have several boxes of the Hornady stuff and it is quite good. However, the argument for FMJ in this caliber (and .380, as well) is compelling.

Mainly, the downside of the hollowpoints in these lower calibers seems to be lack of penetration. For this reason, many forums suggest FMJ if your caliber is 9Mak or lower.

Pros and Cons of each?

Not too familiar w. 9Mak, but nothing other than FMJ for 380s.

I just wish I could still get the Blazer JHPs that CCI released quite a few years ago. They worked fantastically in my Makarov, though I have no info on 'real life' stopping ability.

I have JHP in the pipe and in the mag and FMJ in the spare mag. I figure I'll empty the first one into him then switch to the FMJ mag and empty it again. Gotta stop the threat.
