Denver Firearms Training?

Hello:

I have a daughter in Denver that just went home to find that her apartment had been burglarized while she was out of town on business.

I wanted to buy her the training and sidearm of her choice when she graduated from college...she opted for the big screen TV instead....it is gone in the burglary.

Now she is spooked and has decided to arm herself.

I am back east and know nothing about the various Denver area trainers.

Can anyone recommend a reputable Denver based training provider?

Also, I would be interested in a recommendation of a good place for her to buy a hand gun.

If she can get the training and firearm from the same place, that would be fine too.

Thanks

I suggest hitting the Colorado hometown forum over at arfcom:

Not Denver based but great training/trainer.
A first choice recommendation.

He also writes for PoliceOne online magazine.
A most excellent instructor.

And Rich is a good instructor, worked with/under Cooper for years.
He was the lead instructor for my LE academy some years back.
But I wouldn't trust their "smithing" with a rusty nail, too many bad
jobs I've seen.

I'm rescinding my recommendation of Wyatt, he's gotten odd lately from what I've heard.
