Seem's pretty interesting - could be quite handy in a TEOTWAWKI situation, as it has recipes for a variety of alloys for different purposes, etc.

Try collecting civil engneering handbooks from the same era. Lots of good things in them, including recipies for low explosives.

The Dixie Gun Works catalog also has a lot of that kind of material.
