Any here familiar with this newsletter? Thought I'd check it out (they claim it's free) but looking for any impressions from this crew. link
A friend who's gone way "out there" on 9/11 theories etc sent me the link along with a link and recommendation for Efoodsdirect.
Other than diverging on 9-11 truth we're pretty well sync'd on thinking about being prepped. He's just seriously "put some feet" to the problem. He got his place set to bug out or sell soon as his wife will quit her unneeded job. They have a deep woods place up in northstate that he's been setting for off grid since he retired young a couple years ago.

Re: Hardtimes News
If that's the case, WHY would he even think about moving or going somewhere else if he can self-sustain right where he is without raising any eyebrows (does he have a well or a natural regular source of potable water)? I haven't read the article yet, only your comments, but if he's in the local mountains, he's already FAR ahead of the rest of us, particularly if he's off the grid and able to find his own food sources. Personally, other than water sources, I'd rather hunker down in place than bug out. He's plenty far from the cities to avoid our major pitfalls other than ensuring he has plenty of foodstuffs.blackeagle603 wrote:Any here familiar with this newsletter? Besides the political climate here, if SHTF, I believe politics and the state are going to be the least of his worries.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

No, I guess I wasn't clear. He has a place in RB he's trying to get out of but his wife isn't ready to quit her job just yet.
His country place is up in NorState (coastal range well north of Bay Area).
