Through previous threads, I know the books and supplies to acquire, but I was looking to go a little farther. Can any of you recommend an actual survival class or seminar that focuses on SHTF/Natural Disaster scenarios? Thanks and Fire Away!

Check with your local Emergency Management Agency and see if there are any CERT (Citizen Emergency Response Team) courses being offered locally.
They are often offered free to the student (paid for by grant money) and should cover basics in preparedness, self care and light search and rescue. The program's concept is to train groups of citizens to help themselves and each other out in the early stages of a natural disaster until Emergency Services can get get to them.
American Red Cross has several courses that contribute to preparedness and SHTF skills.
I know community colleges in some parts of the country offer wilderness survival courses.

The only true "survival" class or seminal I've attended that was worth a snot was put
on by
Peter Kummerfeldt of Outdoor Safe.
Practical and easy to remember. It was a true learning experience.
Too many other's were bark chewing, back to nature type courses. Which are not all bad but are often lacking in situational reality.
