Methanol is sold by the Drum by Race Gas suppliers. Runs about 45 bucks/5 gallons. Go Check Sunoco's website, they sell it, along with a host of other race fuels, including some stations that sell Sunoco 260 (formerly Sunoco "blue") right at the pump.

Also, according to one of the Smith's on Snipershide, it works GREAT to clean sprayguns with - he uses a pump and two connectors(one for the compressed air, one for the paint cup port) to clean the gun in 30 seconds.

Something else to note: E-85 is much harder to find outside the midwest(unsurprising really, considering that's where the corn is grown). In NJ for instance, there's no stations at all that carry it.

AKAIK, I can't recall seeing ANY of our local stations carrying E-85. Besides, it wouldn't surprise me if COMMIEFORNIA REQUIRED a different, specific blend of E-85 to meet their political needs.

What a bunch of CRAP!

Thought about this mob scenario when watching "The Colony" on Netflx (both seasons). Looking past the lack of serious thought given to basic security by those participants it was a good visual when their compounds were "mobbed" even by the relatively small groups used in that filming.

Fire and water is what came to my mind.

when watching "The Colony"
How is that show? I've been wanting to give it a chance on Netflix, but despise schlocky "reality" shows.

When I had the Irish Mob incident I was going to fire a warning shot into their car and then start with the nearest one to me if that didn't work. They thought they were going to happen to me but I ended up happening to them. Not a mob per say but a gang.

I ended up being the mob!
Very cool story, but I didn't properly get the context until I recently read a book about Whitey Bulger. Now I understand completely :D

Errr.....no.
Natural gas is the feed stock for methanol production. Have you checked the price of natural gas lately?

That is an insane price. The current wholesale price for 100% methanol is about $1.38/gallon.

besides, what about the price per gallon per mile vs. refined fuel like diesel and/or gasoline? Does LPG put out as much power per gallon as long-chain hydrocarbons?
