You mean more Wimmen, more guns, and less you?

...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Re: How's your bug in going?
My preps are just fine, even on paper goods. I live alone, so a single bulk pack of TP or paper towels from Sam's lasts me nearly a year, & I resupply when I get halfway through the current pack. Both got refilled in January. Only thing I've gone to the store for myself has been fresh meat. Key words being "for myself". A former Miss !Ludite has autoimmune issues, and isn't much of a prepper, so I've been going to the store for her. The current Miss "It's Complicated", is also essential personnel, bank teller, & is living with elderly relatives, and is thus freaking out about the situation. (Extreme anxiety issues & global pandemics turn out to be a bad combo. Who knew?) Starting this weekend, I'll be working remotely, which will be a minor pain. Working on the south shore gave me an excuse to check on Ms. "It's Complicated", give her a lift home from work (She doesn't drive due to severe sudden-onset migraines), and grabbing a bite to eat together. Lately, that last has meant grabbing something to go & picnicking at the lakefront or in a park. My side-hustle with Uber Eats is going well. Can't replace my "day" job with it, but it is helping with the bills.

I'm waiting for NY and NJ to start seizing semi-loads of food.
That's not going to end well for them.

I've been per diem at a busy city hospital as an ER tech while I finish my last semester of nursing school. I haven't actually been working since this all blew up since A) I don't have health insurance (so if I get sick, I'm screwed) and B)...we're expecting! Too much risk for now so we're holed up. Give it a few weeks and I'll be right in the thick of it.
So far the bug-in hasn't been too bad. We have enough supplies to go a month or two without venturing out, but I've been able to do a reasonable weekly grocery run for fresh stuff. While part of me would like to have even less contact with the outside, we just don't have the space for much more food at one time.
I'm just glad we'd already hit the required number of clinical hours, although I'm not thrilled with missing out on my maternity rotation (which was timed very well). At this point I'm just hoping this will be in the past by the time we're due.

The Commonwealth of (redacted) said, "You're essential but do telework."
Campus closed up solid (no access without permission of the provost) March 17 so I worked the first week online from my little apartment (I jokingly call the FOB) and Friday I drove home to finish the semester from there. The three of us are prepped for about 30 days other than fresh produce. I walk our elderly dog around the neighborhood and CINCHOME and I go for walks likewise. She works at a hospital and still goes in to work. We're fortunate to be employed, both of us. I give thanks daily to the Heavenly Father. Younger son is doing his schooling online (HS junior) until at least early May (probably the balance of the school year, I'm guessing); older is at Fort Bliss (2BCT/1AD).
Everyone's well so far. The two things I miss most are baseball and live music (I like to go to open mic nights and blues jams, and I play in a couple bands with friends). This too shall pass.
