Teh funnay! :D

I would hate to be in the position of having to butt stroke a guy with a knife personally. Shooting him in center mass with some 00 would be much preferred.

Sometimes a pull of the trigger isn't as visceral as feeling someone's bones go crunchy in milk.

As for butt-stroking someone holding a knife, the proper method is to shatter his forearm bones with the upswing, so his knife hand is useless, and then on the downstroke, you disfigure the dumbass by destroying an eye socket and cheek bones.

Bonus points if on the arm-shattering upswing if you actually have the idiot stab himself with his own knife.

What I want to know is which kinda stroke the guy used, a "smash" or a side/upstroke.

My money is on the side/upstroke, as it would easily collapse the occipetal bone.

Color me curious.

Well, it's old school for sure. Do they even teach buttstrokes in the military nowadays, what with the plastic stocks on M16s and such?

Dunno, I've got a real cool poster I want to get framed that shows all the the bayonet manuevers - original milsurp. Eugene would love it, becaus it was for the Garand.

I don't know how well a stroke would work with the AR, as it's much ligther having a hollow but, but a "smash" would still work wonders.

I wouldn't want to get buttstroked by an M16 and the M4 stocks would probably lacerate the heck out of ya.

They still did in '01 when I went through. Of course I went to Ft. Benning, GA for Infantry. Parry, thrust, slash, smash and the upwards stroke. I'm not sure on the last name, but my guess is that it would be pretty damaging with the fixed sling loop on the A2s.

The bayonet course was fun as hell, but I did get my bayonet to turn 90 degrees when I thrust and turned in one of the tire "ribs." Don't really trust those M9 Bayonets because of that.

The stocks nowadays are made of pretty sturdy polymers, shouldn't have any problem breaking bones. Not sure of those A1 "Mattel" stocks though.

Can't help but laugh at the ass-hat. I would rather have shot him though.

An old friend once observed that one of the greatest sensations was feeling someone's facial bones crumbling under your fist.
