I give cash too. It's not thoughtless, and it's easy for the lazy in everyone. This year, I emptied my piggy bank and came up with $660 in $1 and $5 notes, and $510 in quarters. I rolled the quarters and put them in the bank, but the cash...

I divvied it up among my nephews, nieces, mom, dad, ex-step-kids, etc. Everyone will get a nice fat wad of cash. Each wad may not add up to all that much, but it will look like ten thousand $$$.

Had to buy my GF a Glock 19, so I can get my G17 back outta her hands. She glommed onto it during her CCW course back in May, and just know able to play with it again.

Her father thinks it great, and now her mother doesn't want to come over any more.
When death is inevitable, style counts.

Survival trumps programming.

Most guys would consider that a win. Hell, if my mother decided she wasn't coming over anymore I would consider that a win.
