Oh no! Sorry for your loss NPR. It sounds like this is the community that will do best in a situation like this. Glad y'all are doing pretty ok overall so far.

So far so good. Since I'm out on disability day to day routine hasn't changed much other than no trips to the VFW for burgers on Wednesday and Saturday dinners. CINCHOUSE is working with students from home by phone and has picked up several online tutoring jobs. Darlin' Daughter is working from home as well. She has acquired a roommate (high school friend) that does not want to be around grandparents since she has to work. She works at Wally World which helps Darlin' Daughter on the grocery restock front.

Supplies were in good shape prior. Last trip to the grocery store (Sunday) was able to restock most items other than paper products. Some items I had to go off the preferred brand but they were there.

The biggest pain so far has been the closure of barber shops. I'm starting to look like a damned hippy.

Might be time to see if you’ve got a lumpy skull or not... Barbershop here on the camp got closed last week, so one of the Joes was making a killing cutting hair. I just gave up when the then 4-y/o asked:
“Daddy, why does your hair only grow in on one side in the front?”
Dammit child, now I can never unsee that.

Wait I seem to have missed something important.

Agreed to all of the above, and NPR sorry for your loss.

I just missed the barber shop closures. My hair has gotten long enough that I've started wearing round, blue glasses and hugging trees. M wife won't let me cut it myself, though I think I could do a creditable job. She quit cutting it years ago because she said I won't sit still.

But I did trim the eyebrows this morning. Don't want to look like Lloyd Bridges.

I think we saw the last movie in town before they closed down. And I got one of the last cups of coffee at my preferred coffee place.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

I've evolved the procedures to buzzing with a #1 attachment about every 3 weeks.

Yeah I also live the self-quarantine lifestyle. "This is what I was born for!"

self quarantine is what I do anyway, except for the retail arbitrage part of my business and trade shows. I have dramatically curtailed the Retail part of my business over the last 15 months and the tradeshows have self eliminated.
Easily have 6 months worth of food and a month worth of water if that shut off somehow.
Have been working on Amazon, working on rebuilding of my house and the GF's house. Ripped out some old rabbit hutches and put in a 24'x30' garden plot in its place.
Other than lazy / bitchy teenagers home from school, this isn't that bad.

Central TX checking in.

I’ve been doing work-from-home for a little over a week now. It’s OK. Pretty decent on supplies. I do miss the family dinner on Sundays but we are doing it virtually on Zoom.

I shave my head every week for a few years now, but I am working on my apocalypse beard now. I should get the clippers charged for my noggin. My wife's mohawk is turning into a mullet!
