Using LRN and hoping you splinter the guy's sternum with a center-of-mass shot isn't a great plan for defensive shooting.

The W-W whitebox .357 110 gr load is the old "Treasury" .357 load. It's going about 1200-1300fps. It's supposed to be pretty effective. I've never shot anybody with it, but I once dropped a large stray dog with one shot to the chest with it.morsetaper wrote: I do have a few hundred 110gr. Yeah, I really had few doubts about the .357 expanding. My real concern is if the .38 will expand. I think it will, but...
