Setting up practice on 2 3D targets

Is there an advantage to backing up, diagonally one way or another? I think there might be, based on the handedness of the goblins, and of the shooters

In force on force, I found it was better to move forward. Not necessarily towards the bg, but maybe turn one way or the other, and move forward on the oblique, while drawing and firing. When I tried to move backwards I fell on my ass. But sometimes you may have no choice, so it's probably worth practicing.
