When I last did an update to my Bugout Box, my firearms consisted of a M-N rifle and a RIA 1911, with 2 spare mags. I have since split the contents into 2 pelican cases and a toughbox, and should probably go back through everything and inventory. Don't we have some semi-annual "check the expiration dates on your emergency stuff" thread around here? Has that happened in a while?

The only thing I would add to the list is my mountain bikes. They are a great way to check out the area. One can travel twice as far with a bike than walking and carry more gear if needed. I have always kept my fuel tank at 1/2 at all times. I have tried to get a aux tank but dam California do not allow them and to travel with a 5 gallon jeep can on the back of my truck would be ripped off. I need to have that at home. As for emergency money, I use a money belt. I have that with me 24/7 and my wife's vehicle has $50 in it at all times. However, we need to put some clothes into the vehicles, thanks for that one. I keep thinking about it and I do not do it, I hate procrastination.

Re-read this as a result of posting a link to it in the Bug Out Bag thread and felt it deserved an entry into TBoA.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".
