Al Mar SERE Operator

Anyone familiar with this knife? I'm thinking of buying one as a general purpose medium sized sheath knife.

Ditto, what Bob K said...very well made knives designed by the late Mr. Mar...

The SERE had gotten very good reviews in all the various blade magazines when they first came out...

I had one a number of years ago with the sawback blade, that really cut wood quite well...It and four folders got destroyed in the house fire...One of the folders was the SERE2000 with a slightly smaller blade then the fixed but damn it had a strong lock...

This thing is awesome.

Guys, it's a damn fine knife. I give it an 'A-' rating. The reason for the (-) is the sheath, not the knife.
