Sorry to hear you won't be able to make the trip. But like Mike says, better to heal up properly and make the trip next year.

Chin up. The govt has its panties in a wad, but we will survive.

23 degrees outside this morning at 6:30 AM! Gets real nice, about 75 during the day. Plan accordingly.

Once more a head count of who to expect would be great. A quick post to let me know you are going to be here. Thanks.

Looks like Penne Pasta Al Fredo, bread and a salad for dinner Saturday evening.

I intend to be there, but I have a few plate spinning that may interfere.

The "facilities" have been ordered and will arrive on Wednesday the 30th. Will haul it and the targets up to the range on Friday the 1st.

Still looking to find out who will be attending this year.

We're currently fussing over whether or not BOTH of us are going to attend.

My wife wants to SEND me, even if we can't get the RV up and running on time for BOTH of us to go. One of our family members (of the kitty persuasion) is VERY sick, and we're likely to put her down soon, if she doesn't pass away on her own. She's VERY sick, but still has enough sparkle of life to let us know she still enjoys being in our company. Even so, the decision to put her down is a VERY difficult one - yet we do NOT want her to suffer, even though she gives few indications she IS suffering even though she has lost a LOT of weight and we have to encourage her to eat and drink. But when we pet her and give her lovin', she immediately responds by purring and nuzzling against us while being pet.

Our kitty isn't showing symptoms of pain or discomfort, but she's almost stopped eating and rarely uses the kitty box 'cause she rarely drinks, and that greatly concerns us too.

We're still trying to determine the correct path with our very loved family member. If she's upset, she let us know, the same if she happy or upset. There's a LOT of fight left in her, even as her health fails. We don't want her to suffer a painful or prolonged death - we just couldn't do that to her. OTOH, I don't think she's ready to go yet.

We're hesitant to take her to the vet's office, cause we really don't want to hear what they have to say and aren't ready to say "Good-Bye" yet - and neither is she, even though she's VERY tired and VERY sickly (including the loss of a LOT of weight to the point her hip bones have become prominent). We have to encourage her to eat and drink, and that's NOT good - but she is our family.

If nothing else, we might be coming by my Honda, or I might be coming alone if we can't get the RV on the road.

We're still working on it.

Get her to the vet. Our cat was losing a lot of weight, and the vet diagnosed her as hyperthyroid... We have to give her medicine twice a day, but the weight loss stopped abruptly and she is doing pretty good these days for a 20 year old cat.
