Calling ALL vets. Active and honorably discharged. Trijicon is giving a 40% discount on their products (1 ea magnified optic, iron sights, and reflex/RMR per) to veterans. I found out about it at work, here's a copy/paste from another forum
1. Email bluestar@trijicon.com from .mil email address or include clear copy of DD 214 or DOD ID Card (No SSN or DOB) from personal email address.

2. Specify the one Magnified Optic, one Reflex Sight, and one Iron Sight you are interested in or provide us with your weapon and application for recommendations.

3. Once approved for the promotion, we will provide you with you special pricing and directions for placing your order.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
All post 9/11/2001, Active or Honorably discharged veterans are eligible. Proof of Eligibility: DOD ID, DD214(No SSN or DOB), or .mil email address. Veterans approved for the promotion are able to purchase one Magnified Optic, one Reflex/RMR, and one Iron Sight through this promotion. Promotion is valid until 12/31/2015.

Here are the details on the program:

If you are a post-9/11 veteran, we have a special promotion just for you called the Veterans’ Blue Star Promotion. You can save 40% on a single magnified optic, a single reflex sight, and a single set of tritium night sights for handguns. To take advantage of this promotion, simply place an order over the website at full retail. You will receive an email order confirmation. Forward this confirmation along with proof of eligibility to BlueStar@trijicon.com. The proof of eligibility could be a copy of your DD214 or DOD ID card (with SSN and DOB blacked out) or simply the fact that the email is from your .mil email account. We will then adjust the price and email you back a revised order confirmation. (VCOG, SRS, SME, and extra mounts and accessories are excluded from the program.)
The part in red is not on my flier that I got.

Ow my wallet! Ow! Ow! Ow!

P.S. Since I'm awesome enough to post this, if you use it, please send me cookies.

Damn! I'm going to have to take a look and see if there's anything I can afford....40% is a HEFTY discount...

Do they post pricing? Not finding anything on site....I'd like to have an idea of what (if anything)I can afford before I inquire...

+1 even if I'm getting 40% some (most?) of there products will be out of my price range. So yeah I'd like to know how deep the water is before I jump in.

Now, to see what they have left after I get my December kicker at work. Might be something that I can (a) afford, and (b) make practical use of.

That's where I'm at, Trijicon is priced way out of my checkbook. Nice stuff, but not that nice.

On the other hand, I've heard good things about Primary Arms red dot sights.

The prices are on their website. You have to click on the model on the left hand side, then there's a breakdown by color and reticle.

If you're low on funds, at least pick up a set of night sights.

The promo runs until December 2015, so you have plenty of time to save your pennies.

I sure hope that Aimpoint throws up an offer to compete.

Give them a ring, the worst they can do is say no.

Then throw your down your cane, dentures, bifocals, and slippers in disgust. 8-)
