DOVER, Del. — Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Joe Biden has bid his son and other members of a Delaware National Guard unit goodbye as they prepare to deploy to Iraq.

I didn't realize that Biden's son was serving. Good for him.

Maybe he should get with McCain and Palin's sons' who are serving and start a club?

Hope he stays safe.

Two of my sons are in Iraq at the moment. Both on their second time there. So I can say I hope the guy comes home safe, whole, and a better man.

Certainly better than his dad, and FAR better than his dad's potential supervisor.

Just the thought of BO being in charge of the most powerful military on earth frightens me, and (remembering the Carter and Clinton years) thinking what he might do to our military also scares me.

That's one bad news ticket.

It's an insult if you're a president and the navy names a sub after you, isn't it?
