I cast thread necromancy to ask:

Randy, is it okay if I quote your post on my blog? The one with the story about the Navy guy who was ga-ga for Daisy Cutters against the Norks. Posted verbatim, no commentary from me, with a link back to the thread.

People seem to think we can just bomb away all of the NK arty without a risk to Seoul.

Sure, go ahead

Yeah, it looks lke young leader is getting frisky. He's approved the "final plans" for war. I wonder if his final plans include the contingency of him being hung by his ankles and beaten to death with baseball bats like a Kim pinata?

Hmmm, it sounds like recon and intelligence would be the keys to taking out the Nork artillery? If they run a gun out and we were waiting for it we could kill the crew than after that kill the gun and plug the tunnels way back.?? :?:

This is really the issue. LITENING III pod (heck LITENING II) and 30,000 feet. I don't care how deep the emplacement, I can put a LGM right down the pipe, 1st time every time.

The problem is there are a LOT of emplacements, far more than a few flights of F-16's can hit in a single sortie. More than the number of Laser Guided bombs we have in theater even.
