October officer promotions announced

These active-duty and reserve officers are promoted to the permanent and temporary grades of captain, commander, lieutenant commander, lieutenant and chief warrant officer 5, 4 and 3.
Promotions are effective on the dates noted.

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

That's OK, they can be frocked immediately.
