MEXICO CITY – A gruesome crime wave is shaking Mexico to its core, with children murdered, headless bodies left in piles and ordinary Mexicans losing the little faith they have in the police and government.
While violent crime has long been rampant in Mexico, a spate of recent killings have gone beyond anything seen before as drug smugglers slaughter rivals and common criminals, often helped by corrupt police, turn more brutal.
Hitmen from the Gulf cartel drug gang left a pile of 11 headless corpses piled up near the city of Merida and police say the victims were likely still alive when decapitated.
Drug gunmen killed 13 people including a baby and a university professor at a party in the picturesque tourist town of Creel, breaking a taboo against killing children.
“You are seeing a deterioration, and a very drastic and violent terrorizing factor,” said Fred Burton, an analyst for the U.S.-based Stratfor security consultancy.

Brutal crime wave shakes Mexico to the core
Linkarooni - and the politicians want us to open our border to THAT MESS???
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

I had hope for Mexico when I read about the child molester/s tied to a tree and burned alive.
It appears that the bad guys have managed to cow the majority, once again.
It's another fine example of what happens when firearm ownership is restricted. Kind of hard to rack up the number when you're shooting up a nightblub if the patrons are shooting back. Of course we'd have the same trouble here in TX, since we're not alowwed to carry in venues generating 51% or more of their revenue via alcohol.
But don't tell the Mexicans that.
For all those honest hard working Mexicans. Kill the corrupt and start anew.

If you are unwilling to give another man freedom in his life, do not expect to have it in your own.
It surely beats trying to figure out what the metrosexuals want ( a good hard kick in the nuts in my opinion, but that won't sell ice cream :D )- Highspeed

Now that sounds like a plan that would probably workFastRope71 wrote:I

Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people.

It's an open secret that there are civilian contractors from UK security organisations out there, acting as advisors to the Mexican forces. Apparently it's mayhem.

Not bad...In Arizona we aren't allowed to carry in any establishment that serves alcohol!

And I'm afraid that I have damn little sympathy for our southern neighbors. They deserve whatever fate visits them. They have for generations done little more than whine like helpless children about the corruption that permeates every facet of their existence. And the first chance they get they sneak across our border to "escape" that particular insanity. Only that isn't really what happens...instead they bring their "culture" with them. A culture of annoying music, pretty good food, hard working god fearing folks...who also count among their numbers criminals, theives, rapists, murderers, gang bangers (who encompass all of the aforementioned attributes). And, of course, they refuse to give up the whining about their prepetual victimhood. If they were serious about REALLY wanting something done about the criminals in their midsts they would DO something besides cower and whine. And I'm not interested in hearing about the fact that they are outgunned by the baddies. We are constrantly inundated with claims about how proud and courageous hispanic men are...well, I'm waiting for evidence. If the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto could start off with NO weapons and still manage to mount a credible stand against the GERMAN ARMY then I'm sure some courageous latin macho men could handle some bandidos (if they were serious). I'm guessing that whimpering is easier and stands a better chance of wheedling some more bucks out of Uncle Sam to "rescue" them from the bad men. SCREW 'EM!
