Probably due to "Dork Brandon" pissing off the Saudis and then planning on constricting output in the near future.

$4.99 a gallon last night in SW Ohio. Up from $3.69 over the weekend (and I managed to get it for $3.33 last week. Glad I started filling up when I get t0 3/4 of a tank instead of 1/2

Filled the truck up the other day here in central TX at $2.96, it was up to $3.09 by the time I filled SWMBO’s car up today. Much more expensive down in Austin near where I’m working now, so I’m glad to have the 36-gallon tank and the requirement to only have to be down there in person 2 days a week.

NE Ohio and Central PA now the same price, $3.859 for unleaded regular. I've never seen them the same before; usually 20-40 cents in Ohio's favor.

And it's climbing back up - $3.29 at Costco and the cheap local gas station.
