Have an online poll every four years, a popularity contest for all 435 Congresscritters. Take the bottom 100, pair them off. Put the pairs in a cage, one pair at a time. Give them each a knife. Whoever wins, shoot them. Then on to the next pair. Hold a special election to replace those lost to attrition, and make it clear that the selections will continue until Congress has a higher popularity rating than any given Kardashian.
With the country more or less evenly split on what it actually wants Congress to do, that plan promises to be kind of rough on the congress critturs. Not that I expect too many people to be bothered by that.

Crazy thought, if you don't like yours, vote them out of office?

I live in Maryland. Voting them out of office IS a crazy thought.

That's the weird thing - polls seem to show that people hate Congress and the Senate but love their congresscritter and Senator.

Until this election, when we got a new representative, I hated both of them, especially our carpet bagger congress man. Wether the new blood is decent or not, is yet to be seen.

Betting Jered can back me up, here in Washington we do try to vote them out. It seemed to stop working right when we went to all mail in voting

Had to edit that, oops

Yep. By some strange quirk of fate, Seattle can find "missing" ballots that they need.

(Also, I escaped Leningrad.)

back to the original thought.
I got a note from the IRS saying I would not be getting an automatic supplemental check as I did not qualify. I got that note on the SAME DAY as I got the check. Truly great work there .gov
