Ayup. [insert shocked face here]

Voting machines should not contain antennas of any type, full stop. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no NFC, NOTHING.

Well, it's not like they've got any reason to hide it anymore.

And in Pennsylvania, the number of ballots cast and the number of people who voted don't line up.

Machine ONLY plugs into 120 VAC power, with a built-in 30 min backup battery. How about a LOCKABLE DOOR over a USB port and/or SD card slot, for downloading the completed vote total.
Is that too much to ask?

This shit isn't rocket surgery, or brain science.............

This is one of the few times I’d advocate for serialized proprietary cables for updates. Accessible only from “outside” the voting interface area of the machine (i.e. in plain sight). Behind the locked cover you mentioned.

Only if it's a highly visible location, thats not where the voter goes.

But no body should believe this, since the visi-screen tells people what to know and what to believe -- anything else is fake news! CNN told me so!
Sorry, channeling my brothers and their Maoist wives again.
