Gold and Guns.

Post by toad »

I noticed that in 1935 Hitler made it illegal for private citizens to own gold. Notice the asshole don't want the peasants own either guns or gold. I'm not a gold bug per se and I remember that even the Swiss are quoted as not having more than 10% of your assets in gold. I suppose the thing to do would be o balance out your assets every year . That is if gold goes up sell some and buy stocks and bonds . Current events show that you should have investments in ammo and firearms. Opinions any one ? :?:

Gold is good, but my investment advice to friends is "plata y plomo"; silver and lead. Make sure you have some iron to throw the lead.

No one is going to confiscate silver.

They may try to confiscate lead, but I will give it to them first.

My experience with silver is that it is a PITA to move "junk" silver, IE pre-1964 coins. Most dealers try to rip you off. I know this is a fact, at least in my area(Shreveport to Lafayette). There was only one dealer who would give me a fair price.

Silver bullion is easier, it sells a bit below daily spot rate.
