Re: Sweden
They "gained nothing". Other than to preserve some liberty and limit expansion of the State.

Would like to see the dataset that supports that. Early on they were making a hash of treating the elderly in nursing homes so lost a lot there.

I've been reading a book that reminds me of the Polio and Flu of the 1950's. They had a flu that made about 30% of the population sick. It killed the kids and old people. It seems the only thing that works are vaccinations and isolation. For polio they went from needle injections of the vaccine to two versions on sugar cubes.

re: that last vid

I wonder if he's got the gene that's been associated with many of the (few) young people who go critical with the 'rona.
Findings In a case series that included 4 young male patients with severe COVID-19 from 2 families, rare loss-of-function variants of the X-chromosomal TLR7 were identified, with immunological defects in type I and II interferon production.

Meaning These findings provide insights into the pathogenesis of COVID-19.

Abstract
Importance Severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) can occur in younger, predominantly male, patients without preexisting medical conditions. Some individuals may have primary immunodeficiencies that predispose to severe infections caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

A Robust Genetic Risk for Covid-19 in Healthy Young Men Is Finally Found
A defective variant of the TLR7 gene is “the most biologically plausible candidate gene” for severe Covid-19.
