I just checked - locally the cheapest station has dropped to $4.09/gallon. Looks like my labor day prediction is on track...

And it just dropped to 3.95... almost every other station locally is still above 4 bucks, I think one is still around 4.50... which is ironic because it was one of the cheapest when all this kicked off. Maybe they're a low volume station and it's price lag?

I last paid $3.29 here in TN. I was on the way home and saw the cheap price. In town, it is about $3.50.

Diesel is still $4.29-4.59 which really makes very little sense.

$3.19 on Sunday, with $3.45 just down the street. The spread is much greater than normal lately.
ETA: Drove by there at lunch, and it was $3.39. Guess I got lucky on Sunday.

The local Costco dropped another 5 cents. I think most of the local stations dropped too. Still only a 2 or 3 stations below 4/gal.

Cheapest Diesel is $4.79. Most are in the 4.90-5.20 range locally.

in town is $3.32 to $3.29 depending on the station.
The cheap Shell that is somewhat local is $3.19 and the QT next to them is $3.18
unfortunately Diesel is $4.39 at both

I knew it was coming, but didn't have the on hand cash and a convenient way to transport or fill a 500 gallon tank. Was gonna do gas at $2.00. Would have been real nice.

GONNA do that in the future when prices drop again. can you say 2024?
