I remember reading that Koresh often went for a morning run along the same route, and that everyone knew it. They could've picked him up any time they wanted. In addition to what Toad cited above, were they still getting dragged over Hillarycare?

I understand that they took the kids to school and other activities too, so if they wanted to protect the kids, they could have picked then up in a very low risk environment.

In a just world, the Branch Davidian compound would have been made of poured concrete and they ATF would have been the ones roasted alive. Perhaps even caught in a crossfire betwettn the Davidians and local LEO's
