When the .01% makes the rules for the rest. The society is pretty close to done.
It matters not if the .01% are the ruling class, the trannies or the garbage men. A republic is no longer in existence at that point.

You skipped judges. That is the issue. If it was the local Chicago Mayor and Council doing this, they could be opposed in the next election or at least move to a saner location, but from a judge with federal reach, there is no option.
