DEC expands bear hunting areas in state
Staff Report
New York state has adopted regulations that will expand black bear hunting areas in parts of 22 counties, including Otsego and Chenango, the Department of Environmental Conservation announced Thursday.
The DEC will open 13 additional Wildlife Management Units throughout Central and Western New York this fall. The regulations are already in effect and allow hunters to pursue bears in these areas during the bowhunting, regular, and muzzleloading bear hunting seasons in the Southern Zone. About 2,000 bears live in this zone, which includes Otsego and Chenango counties.

POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
